Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg.
    Beat well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts.
    Mold in long rolls.
    Refrigerate.
    Slice when chilled.
    Place on cookie sheet.
    Bake for 8 or 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
