Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
2 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and peanut butter together.
Beat in other ingredients, one at a time.
Add flour, blending well.
Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork and sprinkle with peanuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
