Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 bananas, mashed
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.
    Mash bananas and mix with lemon juice.
    Cream together sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Add mashed bananas and whip until light.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture along with milk and nuts.
    Mix thoroughly. Divide batter between greased and floured loaf pans and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Remove and cool on rack.
    Wrap in plastic wrap. Attach festive ribbon.
    Tuck in recipe and deliver to a friend.
