Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oatmeal
    3/4 c. molasses
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 c. boiling water
    1 yeast cake
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    6 c. flour or more
Preparation
    Place oatmeal, molasses, salt and melted shortening in bowl. Pour over this the boiling water.
    Cool to lukewarm and add yeast in warm water with sugar.
    Add 6 cups flour or more if needed. Bake 40 minutes using 400\u00b0 first 15 minutes and 375\u00b0 for remaining time.
