Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh fish, cut bite size
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    3 large potatoes, cut bite size
    2 qt. light cream or milk
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions in margarine.
    Add potatoes and 1 cup water. Cover and simmer until almost cooked.
    Add fish and cream or milk. Cover and simmer.
    Do not boil.
    Salt to taste.
    Thicken lightly with mixture of flour, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and water.
