Short-Cut Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stewing beef
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (10 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    flour to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic powder to taste
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation
    Dredge beef in seasoned flour and brown in oil.
    Mix soup, wine, onion and mushrooms in a casserole.
    Add browned beef. Cover with a tight fitting lid and bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 to 4 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
    Serves 4 to 6.
