Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine, softened
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. white sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (7 oz.) jar macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
1 c. vanilla milk morsels or white chocolate baking bars in chunks (6 oz.)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer until it is fluffy; gradually add sugars, beating well.
Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing well.
Stir in morsels and nuts; drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool on wire racks.
Yields 5 dozen.
