Ingredients

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flaked coconut
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In medium bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
In large bowl, with electric mixer at low, cream butter and sugars.
Add egg and vanilla; beat until well blended.
Add flour mixture; beat until blended.
Stir in coconut, chocolate and pecans.
Drop by teaspoons
2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
Remove cookies to wire racks to cool.
Store cookies in lightly covered container.
