Mom Callanan'S Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. oatmeal
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk (more as needed)
    1 c. raisins
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients but buttermilk.
    Mix well.
    Slowly stir in buttermilk until all dry ingredients are moistened.
    Knead on floured board until smooth. Shape into a ball.
    Place on well-greased cookie sheet.
    Flatten into a 7-inch circle.
    Make a cross with sharp knife 1/4-inch deep on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until light brown on top.
    Pour melted butter on top after baking.
