Shirley'S Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. water
    1 c. raisins
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil water and raisins for 2 minutes and let cool.
    When cooled, mix it with all the other ingredients.
    Pour batter into a bread pan or into (2/3 full) well-greased muffin tin cans (use corn, vegetable cans).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Very good.
