Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 pt. whipped cream
1 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced and drained

Preparation

Spread half of vanilla wafers in a 9 x 9-inch pan.
Cream butter; add sugar and eggs.
Beat with mixer until smooth.
Spread on top of vanilla wafers.
Add strawberries.
Add remaining wafers.
Spread with whipped cream and chill until firm.
