Ingredients

1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped dates
1 c. water
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. quick oats
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Boil the first 4 ingredients for 3 minutes over low heat.
Add margarine; cool slightly.
Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Refrigerate overnight.
Drop by tablespoon onto greased sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
