Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. oleo (2 sticks)
1 c. salad oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour (measured before sifting)
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine and cream sugars, oleo and salad oil.
Add eggs and beat
in.
Sift
flour, soda and cream of tartar together. Add to egg mixture.
Add vanilla;
mix well.
Roll dough into balls about the
size
of a walnut.
Roll in granulated sugar and place
(not too close together) on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork
dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about
6
dozen.
(I've
had 100.) Freezes well.
