Spoon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Butter casserole dish and keep warm.
Boil water.
Slowly add cornmeal and salt.
Cook and stir one minute.
Remove from heat. Add well beaten eggs and milk.
Add sugar and baking powder.
Pour in casserole.
Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 400\u00b0.
