Irish Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. raisins
2 tsp. caraway seed
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients.
Add oil and mix with a fork.
Stir in raisins and seed.
Mix buttermilk and egg together; add to flour mixture.
Turn onto floured board and knead 10 times.
Form a ball and then flatten lightly.
Put into an 8-inch round pan. Cut a cross on top.
Brush with oil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
