Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. softened shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. mashed banana
3 tsp. sour milk
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix together the shortening and sugar and beat until creamy. Add egg and stir in mashed banana and sour milk.
Sift together the flour, soda and salt and add to mixture.
Pour in nuts and mix. Grease 2 loaf pans and line each with 2 thicknesses of wax paper. Pour batter into pans and bake about 1 hour in a 350\u00b0 oven.
