Cherry Pecan Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans
1 - 10 oz. jar maraschino cherries, drained
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to mixture with buttermilk.
Beat until blended.
Stir in nuts, cherries and vanilla.
Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
Remove and cool.
Glaze with confectioners' sugar icing.
