Strawberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. frozen, unsweetened, whole strawberries
    3 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/4 c. oil
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. superfine or regular sugar
Preparation
    Place strawberries in medium bowl; sprinkle lightly with 1/4 cup sugar.
    Let stand until thawed, then slice.
    Combine flour, 2 cups sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking soda in large bowl; mix well.
    Stir oil and eggs into strawberries; add strawberry mixture to flour mixture; add pecans and blend until dry ingredients are just moistened (do not overmix).
    Divide batter between two 4 1/2 x 8 1/2-inch pans that have been greased and floured.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool bread in pans for 10 minutes, then turn loaves out and cool completely.
    Sprinkle tops of loaves with sugar.
