Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter or margarine
6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 3/4 c. flour, sifted with 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except nuts in a large bowl.
Mix well. After mixed into a dough-like texture, add the nuts; blend well into dough. Chill at least 3 hours in refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Form dough into balls or any shape. Bake 25 to 30 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
Prepare a sheet of aluminum foil and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bake cookies until golden brown on bottom.
Place cookies on powdered sugar and sprinkle immediately on top with sugar. Cool about 1/2 hour.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
