Ingredients

12 oz. (2 c.) Nestle semi-sweet chocolate morsels
2 Tbsp. Nestle instant coffee
2 tsp. boiling water
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 large egg
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt 1/2 cup morsels over hot boiling water.
Stir until smooth and cool to room temperature.
In
a cup, dissolve instant coffee in boiling water.
In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and coffee.
Heat until creamy.
Add egg and melted chocolate.
Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups chocolate morsels and nuts.
Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields 24 (3-inch) cookies.
