Herbed Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round loaf sourdough or French bread
    1/2 c. melted butter with 1 clove pressed garlic
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 Tbsp. poppy seed
    1/2 lb. Monterey Jack, sliced
Preparation
    Heat butter, garlic, parsley and poppy seed together.
    Cut loaf into squares or diamonds, leaving bottom crust intact.
    Insert cheese slices into each cut.
    Dribble melted butter mixture into openings.
    Wrap in foil.
    (Bread may be set aside at this time.) Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Loosen foil to expose top and bake another 15 minutes to brown lightly.
    Serve hot.
