Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices bread
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    butter or margarine
    1 large can tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. onion flakes
Preparation
    Toast bread.
    Spread with butter.
    Put 6 slices, buttered side down, in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Mix tomatoes, sugar, onion, salt and pepper.
    Pour over bread in dish.
    Put remaining slices, buttered side up, over mixture.
    Top with Mozzarella or Cheddar cheese.
    Bake for 1/2 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
