Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
1 Tbsp. vinegar (cider)
Preparation

Cream butter with sugar.
Mix in egg, vinegar and molasses. Last, gradually mix in mixture of flour, salt, baking soda and ginger.
Refrigerate about 1/2 hour.
Remove from refrigerator and make small balls from the dough.
Roll them in sugar.
Place balls on cookie sheet and flatten with bottom of a glass.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 7 to 9 minutes.
