Sugar Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco or other shortening
    2 beaten eggs
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Sift together flour and salt and set aside.
    Cream butter and shortening together.
    Add dry ingredients gradually with eggs, sour cream, vanilla and softened yeast.
    Cover.
    Chill at least 2 hours.
