Pepparkakar Christmas Cookies(Pepper-Cogger) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. butter
    1 c. almonds
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. molasses or dark Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add butter gradually to sugar, creaming well.
    Add molasses.
    Blend in dry ingredients gradually, mixing thoroughly.
    Add chopped almonds.
    Dough will be very stiff.
    Shape into a roll; chill and slice or roll out on a very lightly floured board and cut out.
    Use a spatula to lift onto cookie sheet.
    These freeze real good.
