Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. Gold Medal unbleached flour
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
1/3 c. whole milk
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inches.
Blend all ingredients in large mixer bowl on low speed for 15 seconds.
Beat on medium speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly.
Pour into pan.
Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 60 to 65 minutes.
Immediately remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
For better slicing, refrigerate bread overnight.
