Scotch Short Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter (do not use margarine)
4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Cream sugar, butter and 1/2 of flour until stiff to handle. Place on board and knead in remainder of flour.
Will handle real easily.
Press evenly in long oblong Pyrex dish to bake.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 5 minutes, then 300\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Do not brown, only slightly on edges.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot. Cut in small squares while slightly brown.
