Ingredients

1 stick butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together butter and sugars; beat with mixer until smooth. Add eggs and flour.
Mix well.
Stir in vanilla.
Roll dough into a ball and refrigerate overnight or until thoroughly chilled.
