Peanut Butter Refrigerator Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. chunky peanut butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and peanut butter.
    Add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add egg; beat well.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Shape dough into a roll 1 inch in diameter.
    Wrap in waxed paper and chill 2 hours or until firm.
    Remove wax paper and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
    Yield: about 5 dozen.
