Everyday Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. vegetable oil
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. Rice Krispies cereal
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    1 c. shredded coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream the butter, sugars and oil.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
    Add flour, mixed with cream of tartar, salt and baking soda.
    Stir in cereal, oats, coconut and pecans.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten a little.
    Bake on lower shelf of oven 5 to 6 minutes. Move to middle of oven and finish baking, about 5 minutes, until lightly browned.
    Remove from sheet and cool.
    Two trays may be baked at the same time.
    Makes 8 to 10 dozen cookies.
