Ingredients

3 egg whites
pinch of salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
6 oz. chocolate bits
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Beat egg whites and salt until very stiff.
Gradually add sugar, little by little.
Keep beating until very stiff.
Add vanilla and chocolate bits, folding it in.
Drop on foiled cookie sheets by teaspoons, 30 on two sheets, making 60 small cookies. Put both sheets in oven (one on middle rack and other above).
Immediately turn oven off.
Don't open door for 5 hours or overnight.
