Pineapple Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well.
Sift flour, salt and soda together.
Stir into sugar mixture.
Add pineapple and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Yield:
3 dozen.
