Heirloom Fruit-Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1-1/2 c. walnuts
    1-3/4 c. mixed candied fruit, chopped
    3 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking pwd.
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, add eggs;
    beat until light and fluffy.
    Sift flour, salt, baking pwd. and spices.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Stir in nuts, raisins and fruit; stir thoroughly.
    Drop by tsp. onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 min. or slightly brown.
    Yields 5 dozen.
