Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
    2/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients and boil to soft ball stage.
    Add chunk of butter and vanilla.
    Let stand until cool.
    Beat until creamy; add nuts, if desired.
    Pour into buttered plate and cut into squares.
