Coconut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. grated fresh coconut
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. 1% milk
    sugar
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add coconut, sugar, vanilla and egg. Mix well. Add milk, a little at a time, until dough is firm but not sticky. Knead for a few minutes. Shape dough into 2 loaves and place into greased 5 x 9-inch (13 x 23 cm) loaf pans. Dust dough with sugar and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until golden brown. Makes 2 loaves.
