Cut-Out Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon extract

Preparation

Sift flour, sugar, cream of tartar, salt and soda together. Cut in margarine and shortening as for pastry.
Add eggs, milk and lemon extract which have been stirred together.
Mix until smooth. Roll thin on floured board.
Cut with cookie cutters.
Arrange on greased cookie sheet and bake in oven at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
