Party Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 lb. M&M's candy

Preparation

Blend shortening and sugars.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Mix in dry ingredients.
Drop from teaspoon or roll in small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Decorate top of cookies with 6 to 8 M&M's on top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
