Fruitcake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. chopped candied cherries (red and green)
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add egg.
    Mix well and add milk. Add soda and baking powder to flour and mix well.
    Add to creamed mixture along with dates, nuts and candied cherries. Chill.
    Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
