Lace Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. flour
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Bring to boil syrup, sugar and butter.
Keep stirring until it boils.
Remove from heat and stir in flour, coconut and vanilla.
Drop scant teaspoon of dough on cookie sheet covered with foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 8 minutes.
Pull foil from sheet and cool about 3 to 4 minutes before removing cookies from foil. They peel right off by working fingers on underside of foil.
