Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 oz. instant vanilla pudding
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
    Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large mixing bowl; beat until smooth and creamy.
    Beat in eggs; gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (batter will be stiff).
    Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 to 9 1/2 minutes or until browned.
    Yield:
    4 1/2 dozen.
