Aunt Ruth'S Coffee Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. shortening (I use sticks)
    2 eggs
    1 c. stewed cooled raisins
    1 c. cold coffee
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    cinnamon and cloves to taste
Preparation
    Mix and cream first four ingredients.
    Combine flour, salt, soda, baking powder and spices; sift together until thoroughly mixed.
    Alternately combine flour and coffee and stir after each addition.
    Add raisins last and stir thoroughly.
    Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheets about 1 1/2 inches part. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
    Yields 62 to 65 cookies.
