Bishop'S Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. glazed semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
1 c. finely snipped dates
1 c. halved glazed cherries
3 eggs
1 c. granulated sugar
Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease 10 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan; line bottom with wax paper.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
Stir in chocolate pieces, nuts, dates and cherries until well coated with flour.
Beat eggs well in large bowl at medium speed of mixer.
Fold in flour mixture.
Turn into loaf pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours or until done.
Cool in pan on wire rack. When cool, remove from pan; wrap in foil and store.
Serve in slices.
Makes 1 loaf.
