Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter or margarine (at room temperature)
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Have cookie sheets ready.
Mix flour, salt and cinnamon.
Put remaining ingredients into a large bowl.
Beat with electric mixer until well blended.
Gradually add flour mixture, beating just until blended.
Drop heaping teaspoon 1 1/2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0 until lightly golden.
Do not overbake.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
Can be pressed with a fork dipped in sugar for a crisper cookie.
