Brown Sugar Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/3 c. sifted cake flour
    1 2/3 c. brown sugar
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    2/3 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In mixer bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, 3/4 cup milk and Crisco.
    Beat vigorously by hand or at medium speed on electric mixer for 2 minutes.
    Add the 1/2 cup milk, eggs and vanilla.
    Beat 2 minutes more.
    Pour batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Cool completely.
    Frost with vanilla frosting.
