Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. raisins
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. oleo
1 c. sugar
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Bring to a boil the raisins and water; cool.
Cream together the oleo and sugar.
Add flour and soda, alternating with the raisins and juice they were cooked in.
Add vanilla.
Bake in 3 medium size greased cans at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
