Dutch Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sour milk
    1 c. apples, peeled and chopped
    1/3 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream together the margarine and the sugar.
    Add and beat well the eggs and vanilla.
    Combine separately the flour, soda and salt.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with the sour milk.
    Fold in the apples and walnuts. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan or several smaller loaf pans for 55 minutes or until loaf tests done.
    Serve thin slices with whipped cream cheese.
    Wonderful for Christmas gift giving.
