Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 lb. dark brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    5 large eggs
    pinch of salt
    3 c. flour
    1/2 to 1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. milk
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and butter. Add sugar and cream well. Break in 1 egg at a time. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk and add vanilla and nuts. Pour in greased and floured pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until done.
