Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. margarine
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Combine sugar, margarine, oil and eggs.
Beat well.
Combine remaining ingredients.
Refrigerate until chilled (1 to 2 hours). Roll into balls, dip in sugar, flatten with bottom of glass onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields 7 to 8 dozen.
