Indian Fry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    vegetable oil for deep frying
Preparation
    Sift or stir dry ingredients in mixing bowl to blend thoroughly.
    Slowly add sufficient water to form a stiff dough. Cover bowl with towel; let stand 30 minutes.
    Pinch off balls of dough with floured hands and work out into 5-inch circles.
    Drop into oil heated to 360\u00b0 and fry until golden brown.
    Yields 7 or 8 fry breads.
