Pecan Bar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. pecan pieces
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and egg yolk together.
    Measure flour and cinnamon; stir into butter mixture.
    Pat into a lightly greased 10 x 13-inch jelly roll pan.
    Beat water and egg white until frothy. Brush over dough.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until lightly brown.
    Cut right away.
    Makes about 50 bars.
